WHAT IS THE RASTA ROUTES CULTURAL AMBASSADOR PROGRAM?
The Rasta Routes Cultural Ambassador Program lets participating Tourists see Jamaica through the eyes of Local Residents & provides a modern Social Media Platform for extending Community Tourism Hospitality & Jamaican Culture Exchange onto the World Wide Web – Engaging Tourists & Shaping their Positive Experience even before Arrival!

PROGRAM SUMMARY
The Rasta Routes Cultural Ambassador Program is an Island-wide Project designed to connect Tourism-Minded Jamaicans who Enjoy Volunteering & Welcoming Visitors with Cultural Immersion Tourists that want to Experience Jamaica as it is Lived by Everyday Locals!

GREETER MEETUPS
Through the website, Rasta Routes organizes Greeter Meet-Ups between passionate Local Tourism Stakeholders & Cultural Immersion Tourists at No Charge in a Friendly, Social Public Venue soon after Guest arrival in Jamaica to Chit-Chat & Give Pointers & Advice on Making the Most of their Trip to your Area.

SOCIALLY ENABLED
The Rasta Routes Cultural Ambassador Program is a form of Social Tourism – Residents Participate in the Activities of the Tourists while Tourists get to See the Local Life of the Place visited!

DO I HAVE TO BE A PAYING MEMBER TO VOLUNTEER?
Short Answer: Yes. Long Answer: Yes, with an Explanation.

The Cultural Ambassador Program is Altruistic in Nature & specifically seeks to build a loose network of Good Samaritan-minded Locals in Every City, esp. with regard to Community Tourism Travelers Lost or in Need.

The Requirement for being a Paying Member to Volunteer comes after 2 years of Planning for Free Open Membership to the Public.

Realities on the Ground in Jamaica lead us to now believe that we cannot “Match-Make” Tourists with Locals that may be in Financial Need.

Just by Restricting Cultural Ambassador Participation to Members, we eliminate a great deal of risk by ensuring that “Volunteers” are “Review-Minded” & have a “fixed-billing-address” that we will also have handy in our Membership Records…

Additionally, it now becomes More Reasonable for us to allow that Member Volunteers – That we Now Personally Know & Work Shoulder-to-Shoulder With – are both Financially Secure & Stable Enough to otherwise maintain at least a $50/USD Recurring Monthly Investment (e.g. The C.O.M.P.L.E.T.E. RED Plan, for instance…).

WHY DO I HAVE TO BE A PAYING MEMBER TO “VOLUNTEER”?
In Many Cases – We the Staff at Rasta Routes ARE Personally & Openly Inviting All the Friends We Have Met around the World – Over All the Years – to Finally Visit Jamaica.

Winston May Get All the Glory but We Each Take Very Seriously the Safety of Every Individual Traveler that is Influenced to Visit Jamaica via RastaRoutes.com as if they were Friends & Family – because they are…

Undoubtedly, Many will see the Cultural Ambassador Program & Irie Technology Marketing Services as the same thing, but they are not.

The Requirement for Being a Paying Member before Volunteering is Purely One of Several Security Precautions That We Have Implemented for the Safety, Sanity & Well-Being of All Concerned.

All Irie Technology Members are Free to Choose If or When they Will or Won’t Volunteer as a Cultural Ambassador. It’s All Up to Yuh’…

Membership Services & Welcome Greeter Volunteering are 2 Separate Things, however, one is now a prerequisite for the other so that “We Will Know Where Yuh’ Live…”.

Rasta Routes Greeter Meet-Ups can be optionally Extended (on the spot or Scheduled) – if all parties are in mutual agreement – into a Rasta Route Ambassador Trip to Local Attractions plus Art, Cultural & Special Events in your area at the Visitor’s expense.

This is your chance to Show Visitors your Favorite Spots & Hobbies in your Home Town & Customize Ambassador Trips or Walks for your Guests that Highlights Their Interests & What You Love about your area & surrounding districts!

During a walk through the city, a Rasta Routes Cultural Ambassador will not only point out interesting or unknown places, but also talk about daily life in the city and listen to what the guests have to say about their hometown.
